Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Business Solution Data Architect to join the Business Transformation team and deliver enterprise-scale, data-driven solutions across functions such as engineering, finance, operations, program management, and supply chain. This individual contributor will partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership to align solution delivery to operational priorities, strategic goals, and measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience leading transformation and technology implementation efforts and can translate business needs into scalable, secure, and user-centered solutions. This role will lead solutioning activities for complex initiatives, drive execution across requirements, solution design, data quality, implementation, stakeholder engagement, and handoff, and support successful solution adoption. Experience with Palantir Foundry, enterprise data platforms, and modern solution delivery practices is highly desired.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead business solution architecture efforts for complex initiatives supporting enterprise and function-specific transformation goals.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, program teams, IT, engineering, and data teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value business solutions.
  • Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable requirements and executable solution direction.
  • Lead and facilitate requirements gathering, process mapping, use case development, and solution design activities.
  • Develop solution recommendations that are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned to enterprise architecture, governance, and business priorities.
  • Support and/or lead implementation planning, testing, deployment, user adoption, and sustainment activities for delivered solutions.
  • Contribute to or lead initiatives involving data pipelines, data modeling, application enablement, workflow automation, reporting, documentation, training, and handoff.
  • Monitor solution delivery, performance, user adoption, and business value realization; identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver status updates, recommendations, presentations, and working sessions with stakeholders, program teams, and leadership.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to other team members and contribute to the development of best practices, methods, and delivery standards.
  • Operate with a high degree of independence, escalating significant risks or strategic decisions as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 15 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
  • 9+ years of experience in business solution architecture, business analysis, systems analysis, enterprise transformation, IT, data/analytics, or related disciplines.

  • Experience with Palantir Foundry.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or other iterative delivery methods.
  • Experience working with cross-functional data teams to influence outcomes in an agile environment.
  • Experience with enterprise tools and platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, SAP, PeopleSoft, CostPoint, Hyperion, Jira, or Microsoft Project.
  • Experience supporting functions such as engineering, finance, operations, program management, or supply chain.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $191,000-$354,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $165,500-$307,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
