SCOPE OF ROLE:

This position plays a critical role in advancing IH&S's finance data transformation initiatives by focusing on developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, enabling standardized financial reporting, and translating complex financial and operational data into clear, decision-ready insights. In addition to supporting ongoing reporting needs, this individual will contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data models that support forecasting, KPI tracking, and executive-level performance visibility. Working within an Agile framework, this role will prioritize enhancements and ensure delivery of high-impact analytics solutions that support business performance and strategic decision-making.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Building data models and creating processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify ways to capture and report on trends, variances, risks, and opportunities, and present findings to finance leadership
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Commercial, IT, and Operations teams to ensure data consistency, and alignment between the tools (dashboards/reports) used for financial reporting and to monitor business performance drivers
  • Maintain and prioritize reporting and analytics backlogs leveraging the Agile framework.
  • Support executive-level reporting by creating clear, concise, and visually compelling dashboards and summaries.
  • Contribute to finance and business transformation initiatives, including automation of reporting processes and improvement of data accessibility and usability
  • Support various workflows by developing financial KPI calculation logic, creating PBI visuals for leadership consumption.
  • Support standardized reporting frameworks and ongoing transformation initiatives related to forecasting, reporting standardization, and data governance

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, with an emphasis in quantitative methods, statistical modeling, and data science.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics roles in a manufacturing financial environment.
  • Strong understanding of and experience with financial accounting concepts including financial reporting, cost accounting, FP&A. and KPI development
  • Understanding of ERP software is required, proficiency in JD Edwards is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is preferred. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum outside of traditional software design is ideal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and data modeling.
  • Attention to detail, with consistent application of audit trails, versioning, and documented best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

TOTAL REWARDS (May Vary by State)

While the full compensation range for this role is listed below, our anticipated hiring range is $90,000-$105,000 . This projected range is an estimate and will vary based on each candidate's experience and qualifications, so it is not a guaranteed offer amount. This position may also be eligible for a performance-based bonus plan.

Location:

This position is a remote role; however, we are seeking candidates who reside within reasonable proximity to an IDEX Health & Science (IH&S) location. While daytoday work is performed remotely, occasional onsite collaboration, training, or team events may be required. Applicants should be located close enough to commute to an IH&S facility when needed.
