Overview

DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a highly qualified Data Analyst to support mission-driven analytic operations in Washington, DC. The selected candidate will provide advanced data exploitation, analytic tradecraft, and visualization support to enable informed decision-making for government stakeholders. This position requires the ability to collect, fuse, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources, apply analytic methodologies, and produce clear, actionable insights supporting operational and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess experience supporting intelligence, national security, or federal analytic environments and demonstrate proficiency in transforming complex data into mission-relevant intelligence products.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data exploitation, aggregation, and analysis across multiple datasets to support mission requirements and intelligence-driven objectives.
  • Apply analytic tradecraft, structured analytic techniques, and quantitative methodologies to identify patterns, trends, and operational insights.
  • Integrate and analyze data from multiple sources to support intelligence production, operational planning, and decision support.
  • Conduct research, data discovery, and technical analysis to inform analytic assessments and client deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting tools to communicate analytic findings to mission stakeholders.
  • Produce clear and concise analytic products, data summaries, and briefing materials aligned with customer requirements.
  • Apply data quality assurance and validation processes to ensure analytic accuracy and integrity.
  • Support the development and evaluation of analytic models, methodologies, and performance metrics aligned with mission objectives.
  • Collaborate with analysts, technical personnel, and operational stakeholders to ensure data-driven insights support mission outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Polygraph: Counterintelligence Polygraph
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis, data exploitation, or analytic support within a federal or intelligence environment
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent specialized training
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC), DoD, or national security analytic environments
  • Proficiency with Tableau or similar data visualization platforms
  • Experience leveraging SharePoint or collaboration platforms for analytic dissemination
  • Familiarity with structured analytic techniques and intelligence analysis frameworks
  • Experience integrating multiple data sources to produce mission-relevant analytic outputs
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into briefings, dashboards, and intelligence-style reporting


Salary Range:

$95,000 – $112,000 annually. This pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of specific compensation or salary. When extending an offer, DarkStar Intelligence considers various factors, including (but not limited to) the job's responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, market data alignment, applicable bargaining agreements (if any), and other relevant laws
