Job description

I'm hiring for a Chief Cytology Technologist in New York!

The Chief Cytology Tech receives body material, fluids, exudate and scrapings, etc. and assists physicians with FNA procedures and collects specimens from patients; examines and records classification of slides and presents slides with unusual cytomorphology to Pathologist for further examination; maintains record of all work performed in Cytology section, e.g. NYS Department of Health requirements and annual statistics; supervises Cytotechnologists, assigns workload, develops schedule, prepares and maintains departmental records; and performs other duties as assigned.

Location: Near Scarsdale Park, NY
Type: Full-time and permanent
Shift: Days, M-Fri
Requirements: College degree; ASCP cert; NY license; 3 years prior experience
Pay: 128k-165k/yr
Benefits: 401k; health, dental, and life insurance; PTO, etc.
