Job Description

Our Cyber Defense organization is searching for security interns who can leverage technology, develop and improve processes and empower organizations to improve and mature our capabilities that will allow us to quickly and effectively respond to any cybersecurity threats in the P&G environment.

Example Responsibilities by Role Type:

  • Security Engineer: Learn, apply, and grow a skillset that is influenced by and will overlap with the many stakeholders across IT. Design, implement, test, deploy, and monitor security solutions and platforms. Assess security infrastructure and recommend improvements aligned with security and architecture standards. Communicate vulnerability risks and impacts to technical and business stakeholders, driving informed action. Investigate and respond to security threats, implementing measures to reduce future risk. Research emerging TTPs and collaborate to assess risks and strengthen security controls across the CI/CD pipeline.

  • Security Analyst: Play a key part in proactively protecting networks, applications, and infrastructure from cyber threats globally. Perform incident response efforts and drive vulnerability remediation across worldwide assets. Partner with Penetration Testing, Cyber Hunt, Threat Intelligence, and other teams to strengthen cybersecurity. Investigate incidents, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation actions. Use security tools to respond to threats and improve security defenses. Communicate technical concepts clearly and promote compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices.

Job Qualifications

  • You must be available during the summer of 2027 for a 12 week internship from mid/late May through early August.

  • In process of obtaining a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related technical/IT field.

  • IT Security Awareness:Understanding of cybersecurity standards and the ability to support P&G's cybersecurity initiatives to protect information security.

  • Leadership Skills:Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

  • Collaboration and Communication:An open-minded individual who is a fast learner with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working closely with cross-functional teams.
