Phillips Edison's operating platform provides retail services including acquisition, redevelopment, leasing and management of grocery-anchored retail centers.

What you'll do:

The Information Technology Intern will report to the Manager of IT Enterprise Applications and work with other IT team members in person in our Cincinnati, OH office.

  • Act as development resource, Enterprise Application Team to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications, reports and system integrations (60%)

  • Assist in the collection and documentation of business requirements, development of user stories, time / cost estimates and project plans (20%)

  • Provide third-level application support to organization business users. (20%)

What you'll learn:

Throughout the internship term this role provides the student with the following:

  • Apply knowledge of software engineering practices (e.g. source control, problem tracking, design principles, etc.)

  • Ability to work with different technology stacks

  • Learn the IT processes and systems .

  • Learn or further develop the process of documenting work performed on projects and communicating effectively with supervisors and company personnel

  • Further develop skills required to interact with other professionals at varying levels of the company

  • Further develop time management skills and the ability to be responsible for more than one project at a time

What we're looking for:
  • A current university student enrolled in a degree-seeking program studying Computer Science with a minimum GPA of 3.0

  • Ability to work independently, with direction and guidance, and on a team (as needed)

  • Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to balance multiple priorities at once
