WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Position: Student Enrollment Coordinator
Reports to: Director, Outreach and Enrollment
Job Classification: Full time, 12-month non-exempt
Salary: $26-$32/hour, Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
Benefits: A comprehensive package of benefits is offered including two medical plan options, dental, vision, life, accidental death and disability, long term disability, pension, 403(b), HSA, FSA, and generous sick leave, vacation, and holidays.
Communication:
  • Respond to all inquiries about admission in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain databases and assemble admissions materials for mailings to constituents.
  • Develop relationships to establish CRJS as a top-choice option for students and families.
  • Represent CRJS to educational, community, government and religious organizations.
  • Coordinate and communicate financial aid policies, including family contribution.
  • With Director of Marketing, update social media and other communication materials.

Application Management:
  • Keep records of all inquiries, applications, and retention via Admissions database.
  • Support Director of Outreach and Principal in scheduling and following up interviews of prospective students and parents.
  • Organize, screen, and maintain information from prospective students (eg, transcripts, applications, financial aid forms, records, test scores, letters of recommendation).
  • Assist Director of Outreach and Enrollment with preparation of admission files with academic and endorsement documents for each applicant.
  • Assist families throughout financial aid process, including income verification.
  • Communicate with students and parents throughout the admissions process.
  • Prepare, organize, and implement administration of annual freshman placement tests.

Recruitment:
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with the Catholic, public, charter and other private elementary and middle/junior high school leaders in Seattle metro area.
  • Coordinate and organize recruiting efforts for Director and other school leaders, and willingness to visit elementary schools, churches, youth centers and other organizations serving prospective students.
  • Train student ambassadors and coordinate tours of CRJS and activities for prospective students and their parents.
  • Meet with parents, prospective applicants and feeder-school representatives.
  • Coordinate and help Director to organize on- and off-campus admissions events, including Open House, EXPO Night, Orientation, and other promotional events.
  • Support Director of Outreach with Ambassadors Program and parent groups.
  • Present to potential students at fairs, expos, church services, community fairs, etc.
  • Create networking opportunities for representatives of organizations helpful in enrolling students (e.g. community groups, nonprofits, churches and parishes).
  • Attend after-work and weekend activities as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience related to the duties and responsibilities above.
  • Commitment to the Mission and Vision of Cristo Rey Jesuit Seattle.
  • Ability to work with academic software (eg, Microsoft Office, CRM, Finalsite, etc.).
  • Highly collaborative, positive, dynamic team player with ability to foster professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Effective, detail-oriented internal & external communication skills.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred, especially those with fluency in Spanish.
