About the Role

High Point Residence Fox Valley is seeking a dependable and experienced Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals that meet residents' dietary needs while creating an enjoyable dining experience. You will work closely with the dietary team to ensure meals are prepared according to menus, recipes, and food safety standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare, assisted living, or senior living environment
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with specialized dietary needs
  • Experience with menu planning and inventory management
  • ServSafe Certification (preferred)
