Coastal States Bank is growing quickly, and we're seeking a talented individual who thrives on challenges and excels in a dynamic work environment to join our team. This role is full-time, five days a week in-office (remote not an option). This role will require regular travel throughout the Savannah, GA and Lowcountry, SC markets to capture the essence of being Local. And Proud Of It.
Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced full-time Content Marketing Manager. This position works Mondays through Fridays in a professional setting. We have one position available to sit at our branch in Savannah, GA or within the Lowcountry branches. This is not a remote position. Out of town applications will not be considered. Salary is commensurate with experience.
The Content Marketing Manager will lead the day-to-day management and delivery of the bank's marketing content strategy. This role will focus on planning, developing, and distributing high-quality content that aligns with the bank's business goals, brand, and target audience and drives acquisition, engagement, and retention. The Content Marketing Manager will collaborate with internal team members and external vendors to produce and execute content across multiple channels, including but not limited to digital, print, website, email, and social media.
Essential Functions:*
  1. Create and maintain a content calendar that supports key campaigns and business objectives.
  2. Partner with branches and lines of business managers in creating copy and designs for ads, flyers, social media posts and community sponsorship requests.
  3. Optimize digital content for SEO to improve search rankings and organic traffic.
  4. Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate product information and banking topics into engaging and easy-to-understand content.
  5. Provide marketing support to retail and commercial banking teams for community outreach initiatives, events, etc.
  6. Ensure all content meets regulatory and legal requirements.
  7. Maintain consistent quality, tone, and style that align with brand guidelines.
  8. Monitor and report content performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and similar third-party platforms.
  9. Participate in community events to increase bank visibility and develop business opportunities.
  10. Complete all mandatory training sessions as required by management.
  11. Comply with bank procedures and follow regulatory, operational and security guidelines.
  12. Contributes to the bank team effort by working on special projects and reports, performing other job-related duties, at the discretion of the Supervisor.

Preferred Education/Experience/Software:

Experience with SEO, Content Management Systems, website analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms. Knowledgeable in a wide range of Microsoft Office software applications.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Hootsuite, etc. Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to analyze and translate data into actionable strategies.
Knowledge of banking products and services, as well as industry regulations.
Training:
Responsible for the timely completion of all required compliance training such has BSA, Information Security, and other job specific training as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
Occasional on and off-site presentations, meetings and trade shows. Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed. Occasional travel may be required.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Professional office environment. While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to operate standard office equipment. The team member is frequently required to communicate and perceive. The position is primarily stationary and not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and requires sedentary work such as exerting up to 10 pounds of force 5% of the time and a negligible amount of force approximately 95% of the time.
