Job description

Social Media & Content Creation Manager
Location: New York, NY
Type: Hybrid
Reports to: Senior Manager, Social, Influencer & Community Engagement
Role Overview
HealthyBaby is redefining what it means to put health first for families, and we're looking for a Social Media Manager to help tell that story.
We're looking for someone who loves social media, understands the parenting space and isn't afraid to challenge what's expected. Someone who gets excited about building communities through thoughtful, engaging content and bringing fresh, creative ideas that help HealthyBaby stand out.
Working closely with the Senior Manager of Social, Influencer & Community, you'll lead content planning, publishing, community management and channel performance while collaborating with our creative and marketing teams to bring campaigns, launches and brand moments to life.
From launching new products and advocacy initiatives to collaborating with creators, healthcare professionals and mission-driven partners, you'll help shape the voice of a brand that's redefining what modern parenting looks like.
Why This Role Matters
At HealthyBaby, social media is more than a marketing channel. It's where we educate parents, advocate for healthier standards, celebrate everyday parenting moments and build meaningful relationships with our community.
As Social Media Manager, you'll play an important role in shaping how HealthyBaby shows up every day. From product launches and advocacy initiatives to community conversations and cultural moments, your creativity and instincts will help strengthen our voice while making parents feel seen, supported and informed. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
  • Own the day-to-day management of HealthyBaby's organic social channels, including content planning, publishing, caption writing and channel optimization.
  • Manage and maintain the social content calendar, ensuring content is planned, organized and published on schedule.
  • Monitor channel performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement, reach and community growth.
Community Engagement
  • Own community management across all social platforms by responding to comments, direct messages and tagged content in a timely, thoughtful and brand-aligned way.
  • Build meaningful relationships with parents, creators, healthcare professionals and partners through daily engagement.
  • Approach every community interaction with empathy, recognizing the unique needs and experiences of parents and caregivers.
  • Monitor conversations to identify recurring questions, insights and opportunities that can inspire future content.
Content Creation
  • Develop creative, social-first content ideas that educate, entertain and inspire parents.
  • Create content briefs for designers and internal partners.
  • Capture and create short-form content, including Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Identify emerging social trends and adapt them into content that feels authentic to the HealthyBaby brand.
  • Assist with content capture during launches, events and key brand moments.
  • Feel comfortable appearing on camera for brand content when needed.
Reporting & Insights
  • Monitor channel performance and prepare regular reports highlighting content performance, audience growth and engagement.
  • Identify trends, insights and opportunities to continually improve content performance.
  • Conduct competitive research and stay informed on what's happening across the parenting, wellness and social media landscape.
Creator Support
While this role is primarily focused on social media, you'll also support our creator program by:
  • Coordinate product gifting and shipments for approved creators and partners.
  • Organize creator content for potential social amplification.
  • Track creator assets and help maintain an organized content library.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience managing social media for a consumer brand or agency.
  • Passion for social media, parenting, health, wellness or mission-driven brands.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging social media trends.
  • Experience creating short-form video content and confidence filming with a mobile device.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera for brand content.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker who understands how to adapt trends into content that feels authentic to a brand.
  • Experience using social scheduling, reporting and analytics platforms.
  • Collaborative, proactive and eager to bring new ideas to the table.

If you're excited by the opportunity to build community, create meaningful content and help shape the future of one of the most innovative brands in baby care, we'd love to hear from you.
