The Opportunity

As a Local Client Manager, you will be working at the center of Maersk as a Global Integrator of Container Logistics. Supported by a team of specialists, including project managers with extensive experience and a sales team dedicated to customer success within the Key Client Team.
We are seeking energetic, customer facing professionals who enjoy complex logistics challenges. The candidate should have a proven track record of building Customer Relationships and delivering results across all of Maersk's portfolio of products. A strategic mindset with the ability to identify business opportunities and win new and additional business.
Responsibilities
o The pursuit of new and additional customer business in an assigned Key Client portfolio
o Identify, qualify, consult, and develop value propositions enabling the sale of large-scale supply chain solutions
o Pro-actively search, qualify, develop, and engage into new strategic multi-level relationships
o Identify customer needs, opportunities, and key buying factors for pursuits, and formalize those into account plans and strategies in Sales Force.com
o You will be responsible for creating and managing pursuit plans and collaborating pursuit plans with product and project teams
o You will develop global/local business plan for increasing overall supply chain share of wallet
o You will define the local value proposition and work closely with local product organization to grow and deliver revenue growth
o You will be responsible for Customer Satisfaction - support the overall customer experience and support global value proposition
o You will upsell and cross-sell new products
o You will deliver client profitability as per budget
o Represent Maersk in relevant industry, vertical and marketing events
o Perform regular customer calls and exchange as well as regular physical customer visits depending on customer needs
o Identify and share customer strategies with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure product development is aligned to changing customer needs
We are looking for
o Excellent stakeholder management, able to set clear direction, priorities, and focus, as well as network, motivate others and build lasting partnerships including at senior levels of the organization
o Logistics expertise in Landside Solutions, Contract Logistics, E-commerce - including industry insights
o Self-motivated and performance driven
