Truck Driver (Roll-Off) - Sanitation Hauling

(1) Job Summary

  • We are seeking a Roll Off Truck Driver to join the L&M Disposal Team! You will be responsible for safely operating a Roll-Off Truck in hauling Open-top Containers and Compactors to and from select client locations. Total capacity of the vehicle plus cargo is around 30,000 pounds or more Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

(2) Responsibilities:

  • Safely Operate Heavy & lite loads on Residential and Highway Roads as well as Dumps and Transfer Stations.
  • Load and Unload Waste at Dump/Transfer Stations (i.e. unhooking/hooking up container, tarping loads.)
  • Carefully Inspecting Truck Before Driver gets on Road.
  • Properly Track and Document Container/Compactor Pick-Ups/Deliveries/Swaps along with Dump tickets and Box Numbers.
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch as soon as possible.
  • Inspect Truck Before and After Workday.
  • Must Come to Work on Time!

(3) Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with a Roll-Off is Required. (at least 2-3 years) *REQUIRED*
  • Commercial driver's license (Class-B) + (Airbrake endorsement) *REQUIRED*
  • Ability to Handle Physical Workload Without Complaining.
  • Ability to Follow Directions Clearly.
  • Clean Drivers License with Zero Points.
  • Familiarity with Local Roads & Routes (Northern New Jersey).
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Commercial Driver's License with Airbrake Endorsement.
  • Ability to Handle Physical Workload Without Complaining.
  • Strong Work Ethic and those that are Passionate and Driven about their career.
