Job description

Electrical CAD Designer

Hybrid โ€“ Full Time

ย 

Productive Resourcesย (www.productiveresources.com)ย is seeking aย candidateย to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in various locations in Texas and Louisiana. As a member of our team, he selected candidate will provide 3D modeling and routing of electrical harnesses, create schematics and electrical harness drawings. The Individual will interface with other engineering groups to ensure designs are compatible with other systems.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.


Duties:

  • On time delivery of 3D electrical routing designs.
  • Complete 2D drawings to different customer standards and best practices.
  • Create and edit electrical schematics.
  • Support prototype vehicle builds, as necessary.
  • Travel to customer sites.


Requirements:

  • Understanding of electrical controllers, harnesses, components, etc. used in the marine and off-highway industry.
  • Knowledge of different companiesโ€™ Design Engineering Standards.
  • Expert level with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
  • Ability to work with different companiesโ€™ part release and BOM procedure.
  • Ability to work on site for 2 weeks at a time and from home the remainder of the time (per diem included).
