Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews, requirements workshops, and cross-discipline team meetings to elicit understanding of business needs and documentation requirements
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive a solution that meets key objectives and vision
  • Develop clear, concise documentation of solutions, such as process flows, technical requirements, UI, modules, data layouts and data mappings
  • Write testable requirements and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Work collaboratively within an Agile Scrum team, supporting both software and QA engineers
  • Interface with stakeholders and other cross-functional team members on relevant end-user-focused product documentation and training material
  • Own, maintain and refine the team's backlog, based on team norms
  • Own, maintain and refine user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Mentor associate and mid-level analyst in team process and standardsโ€ฏ

You might be ideal if you have:

  • 7 years minimum of experience in business analysis.โ€ฏ
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Mathematics, or 3+ years professional experience in an enterprise-class setting
  • Experience writing requirements for enterprise-class software solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills with ability to clearly articulate complex problems and solutions
  • Strong experience authoring user stories and testable acceptance criteria
  • Experience with querying data from SQL and/or No-SQL databases
  • Strong experience analyzing data from various sources (such as flat files, web sources, development data mappings, etc.) and defining data mappings
  • Must have experience in a Scrum, SAFe, or similar Agile Framework
  • Strong experience defining requirements for software initiatives, covering UI, API, and database considerations
  • Positive, self-motivated, driven, and teachable attitude

  • Healthcare system experience, especially with claims, member/eligibility, and provider data
  • Experience and proficiency with ALL parts of defining, designing, and implementing scalable, enterprise-class software solutions
  • Agile or technical certifications are a plus
  • Experience and aptitude directly supporting users and/or conducting end-user training Experience using Atlassian tools, e.g., Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Experience coaching and training other colleagues in business and/or data analysis
  • Experience coaching and training other colleagues in documenting requirements, writing user stories, building diagrams, etc.
