Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Analyst to serve as the vital link between our business operations and technical departments. In this role, you will lead the discovery, analysis, and communication of complex system requirements for large-scale, cross-functional projects. You will be responsible for translating high-level business needs into technical specifications, ensuring that our software and hardware solutions are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with long-term strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Consulting: Partner with client management to identify business opportunities and recommend technical solutions that improve process efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements Leadership: Lead the full lifecycle of requirements management-from elicitation and verification to documentation-ensuring all specifications are clear, traceable, and feasible.
Systems Analysis: Perform advanced operational analysis on interdependent systems, assessing the impact of changes across multiple platforms and technologies.
Project Oversight: Manage changing requirements and potential risks, collaborating closely with SQA and development teams to ensure final products meet business needs.
Mentorship & Validation: Act as a lead for project teams, coordinating work assignments and validating the output of other analysts to ensure high-quality delivery.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent experience); Master's degree preferred.
Experience: 5+ years in IT and systems analysis, with a proven track record of leading requirements development. Experience in the health insurance industry is a significant plus.
Technical Expertise: Expert knowledge of application development methodologies and the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications: CCBA™ or CBAP™ designations are highly preferred.
