The Opportunity:
Opportunity to join a thriving HVAC Manufacturer Representative in one of the strongest economies in the country. We are currently seeking to grow our team by adding an Inside Sales Professional. As an Inside Sales Professional, this individual will be responsible for: technical reviews of plans and specifications, equipment selections, compilation of technical submittals, equipment pricing and equipment lead times. Under the guidance of a Project Engineer Manager, the Inside Sales Professional will undergo; training on the HVAC equipment we represent and development of long-term relationships. This individual must be detailed and customer service oriented and have excellent organizational skills. This position requires a high level of oral and written correspondence with the Sales Team, Customers, and Manufacturers; to ensure timely completion of assigned projects while maintaining customer satisfaction. The Inside Sales Professional must be able to work well with others in a fast-paced & high-volume environment. An ideal candidate will express the desire to grow professionally, must be people-oriented, customer service driven, sales driven and a team player.
Responsibilities
  • Equipment and accessory design selection and pricing
  • Clearly communicate with Sales & Estimating teams to ensure scope is covered and issues or concerns are resolved before the request is due
  • Address equipment design and selection requests with accuracy before the request is due
  • Track progress, changes, & identify any risk on equipment as it pertains to bidding
  • Work with Project Manager on equipment hand-off, submittals and IOM when needed.
  • Ensure technical submittals are correct, complete and align with project requirements
  • Work with S. Conley staff and vendors to utilize software and platform needed to complete work.
  • Develop and grow relationships with customers, contractors, project engineers and manufacturers
  • Other duties assigned & related to position.

The Required Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, deal with ambiguity, and manage high volume projects
  • Desire to grow professionally and possess an interest in establishing a career in equipment sales
  • Must be technically oriented, customer service driven, sales driven and a team player
  • Working knowledge of MEP consulting, architecture, design, CAD, general contracting, mechanical contracting, engineering or construction industry
  • Background in mechanical systems or construction. HVAC is preferred but not required.
  • Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be able to quickly learn additional software, such as Bluebeam Revu & various manufacturers selection software

Compensation/ hours: - Full Time Position
  • Base Salary: $60,000 to $85,000 per year DOE
  • + Performance Bonus Comp Plan

  • + Regular Business Hours are typically 8am to 5pm including a lunch break. Expectations are that hours will shift to meet position objectives and client needs.
