The Roleย 

mCIO serves as a strategic advisor, facilitator, and relationship leader for assigned clients. You'll work with clients to uncover needs, pains, opportunities, and translate them into clear solutions that deliver business outcomes. You'll work in our MSP IT practice, but collaborate across Cybersecurity, Compliance, Marketing, AI, and UC - to bring the right team member's expertise and services to the table at the right time.ย 

What You'll Doย 

  • Clarify Business & Organizational Priorities - Ask the right questions about customers to understand what an organization is really trying to accomplish.ย 
  • Manage Outcomes & Accountability - Translate strategy into objectives, track progress, and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Facilitate Communication & Collaboration - Bring people together; reframe issues; and keep discussions focused on productive solutions and outcomes.ย 
  • Consultative Selling - Build trust, uncover pain, frame solution concepts, discuss money, and guide decision criteria toward win-win outcomes.
  • Drive high level IT outcomes as key member of our MSP delivery team.
  • Work collaboratively with other service practices: Cybersecurity/Compliance, Digital Marketing, Professional Services, AI to drive business outcomes.ย 
  • Explain Offerings Clearly - Articulate the business value of Microsoft 365, Unified Communications, cloud, and other core solutions.ย 
  • Use Core Tools Effectively - Communicate clearly, simplify complexity, and leverage PSA/CRM, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, quoting, and AI tools.
  • Leverage Sales Engineers and Subject Matter Experts to provide clients with the expertise and specifics of the solutions our clients need.ย

  • Proven experience in advisory, consulting, or leadership roles.ย 
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and guiding outcomes.ย 
  • Skilled in consultative selling and executive communication
  • Business understanding of IT operations, cybersecurity frameworks, compliance, marketing maturity, AI adoption, and UC
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, PSA/CRM, quoting, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT Management, or related field (other education or professional development in IT, cybersecurity, compliance, marketing, or AI preferred).ย
