Job description

Hardware Expert – CAD & Mechanical Design

Role Type: Contractor
Location: Global, Fully Remote
Schedule: Flexible, ~15 hours/week

Role Summary

We are seeking skilled Hardware Experts with strong CAD, mechanical design, Python, and computational geometry experience to support an AI training project involving technical drawings and precise 3D modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret engineering drawings and create accurate 3D CAD models.
  • Develop complex mechanical geometry using CAD tools.
  • Use Python for CAD automation and programmatic modeling.
  • Export and validate STEP and other solid-model formats.
  • Verify dimensions, geometry, topology, and physical properties.
  • Troubleshoot and refine CAD models for accuracy.

Qualifications
  • Strong experience with CAD and mechanical design.

No specific degree or years of experience required. Practical expertise and relevant experience are valued.
