Job description

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for a new opportunity with a growing manufacturing company? Our client in East Chicago, IN is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join their team. This is a 1st shift, full time position with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $25.00+/hr depending on experience. PPE will be provided along with reimbursement for steel toe boots.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Write and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software

·         Interpret blueprints and technical drawings

·         Determine proper speeds, feeds, tooling, and materials

·         Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce quality parts

·         Troubleshoot programming and machining issues

·         Maintain program, tooling, and production documentation

·         Perform routine machine maintenance and inspections

·         Utilize CAD and 3D modeling software as needed

Requirements:

·         Previous CNC programming experience (MAZAK, HAAS, and Milltronics machines)

·         Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, and Fusion)

·         Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

·         Knowledge of CNC speeds, feeds, tooling, and materials

·         Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

·         Experience with 3D modeling and CAD software (preferred)

·         Work independently, and with a team

·         Background check and drug test

·         Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
