As a Full Time Community Engagement- Direct Support Professional, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills and knowledge to positively impact others. This role is perfect for Recent Graduates, Home Health Aides, CNAs, Personal Care Assistants, and Direct Support Professionals looking to grow in the social services field. A Valid/Clean Driver's License is REQUIRED.

The position is onsite in Elmira and Watkins Glen, primarily Day hours Monday-Friday providing a hands-on experience that will enhance your career development. With competitive pay of $18.00 per hour, this role offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a meaningful contribution every day. As a Full Time Community Engagement- Direct Support Professional at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler, you will play a vital role in providing essential day-to-day services and training to individuals in the community. Your responsibilities will include supporting individuals with direct assistance in daily living activities, such as adult living skills, cooking, and budgeting. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to accompany individuals on community outings, including medical appointments, recreational activities, volunteer locations, and personal shopping trips. This hands-on role will allow you to make a significant impact on the lives of others by promoting independence and enhancing the overall quality of life for those we serve.
