POSITION SUMMARY:
Role: Forklift Material Handler – 1st Shift
Pay: $21.50 – $22.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM
Reports to: Logistics Manager
What You’ll Do:
  • Utilize a forklift and reach lift to safely and efficiently transport materials throughout the warehouse and to production lines.
  • Accurately record material movements using handheld inventory systems to maintain real-time inventory visibility.
  • Reconcile materials from completed jobs and return unused materials to designated storage locations.
  • Operate reach lifts and sit-down/stand-up forklifts to place pallets in assigned racking locations.
  • Stage and organize materials for upcoming production jobs to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain First-In/First-Out (FIFO) inventory practices to meet product quality and expiration requirements.
  • Perform daily housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiency.
  • Follow all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Support team operations by completing additional tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Forklift Experience Required
  • Reach lift Experience Required
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Lift up to 50-75lbs occasionally
  • Attention to Detail
  • Able to Accurately Perform Repetitive Tasks
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EQUIPMENT:
  • This is a warehouse position inside a warm and dry facility.
  • This position requires work in a warehouse roasting facility that requires constant standing on concrete floors, exposed to loud equipment noise and subject to coffee dust strong odors.
  • Personal protection equipment and other Good Manufacturing Practices are mandatory.
WORK HABITS:
  • Regular attendance and promptness are required for this position.
  • Some work may be required outside of the normal work week.
