What does a full time clinical psychologist do?

A Full Time Clinical Psychologist is a licensed mental health professional who assesses, diagnoses, and treats emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues in individuals and groups. They use a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and talk therapy, to help patients manage or overcome mental health conditions. Clinical psychologists often work in hospitals, private practices, clinics, or other healthcare settings, and may collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Their role also includes conducting psychological testing, developing treatment plans, and sometimes engaging in research or teaching.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time clinical psychologist?
