Job description

At Northview, we are a passionate, community-focused team dedicated to making our properties the best they can be. We are proud to live, work, and play in the neighborhoods we serve, next to our residents, hotel guests, and commercial tenants across Canada.

We are looking for a Cleaner to join our Residential team in Lloydminster, AB. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be critical to our delivery of world-class customer service in our buildings that depicts pride of ownership and respect for our residents. While following our Health and Safety precautions, our cleaners clean vacant suites, as well as provide regular cleaning of common areas of buildings thus allowing us to deliver on our promises to our residents to have a safe and clean home in which to live.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning common areas, guest rooms, vacant and renovated suites
  • Cleaning includes but is not limited to:
    • dusting
    • vacuuming and steam cleaning carpets and area rugs
    • linen change
    • disinfecting & polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
    • washing walls, windows, window coverings and ceilings
    • cleaning cupboards and cabinets
  • Maintaining a trash and debris-free environment
  • Removal of snow off walkways and common areas where applicable
  • May include carpet cleaning using industrial cleaners or chemical treatments
  • May be part of an on-call rotation
  • Other duties relating to upkeep of buildings as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A self-motivated individual who can work independently and takes pride in their work
  • Previous experience working in environments that can be very dirty
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to lift 30lbs, work with industrial strength cleaners and climb stairs with equipment and supplies
  • A driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Able to provide a criminal record check that is free of relevant convictions
  • Able to work overtime or on call as needed
