City Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Hartford, Connecticut. City Physical Therapy is a well-established orthopedic outpatient practice that prides itself on delivering exceptional care to our patients. Our facility features a state-of-the-art 5000 square foot sports medicine environment, equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools and technology. Our team consists of professional staff, including two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring our clients receive the best possible services tailored to their needs.

This role is set in a collaborative and supportive environment where teamwork and communication are essential. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance. As a Physical Therapist, you will engage directly with patients in our home care setting, allowing for a personalized approach to rehabilitation and recovery.

• Assess and address patients' objectives and needs, facilitating individualized treatment plans that promote optimal recovery.
• Manage a focused caseload, providing one-on-one therapy sessions to each individual for an hour, ensuring dedicated care.
• Deliver targeted therapeutic interventions to improve patients' range of motion, mobility, and overall physical health.
• Reduce dependence on medications by initiating non-surgical treatment options and strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans that address all aspects of patient health.
• Document patient progress diligently, evaluating treatment outcomes and adapting care strategies as needed.
• Encourage patients through motivational support and education, promoting a healthy lifestyle that enhances strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Our primary focus at City Physical Therapy is on individuals requiring orthopedic care. This includes patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that affect their musculoskeletal system. As part of our dedicated team, you will be instrumental in guiding these individuals through their rehabilitation process, making a meaningful difference in their recovery and long-term wellness goals.

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Connecticut.
• Clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating familiarity with patient care processes specific to orthopedic conditions.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of personalized exercise protocols.
• Proficiency with WebPT EMR software, ensuring efficient management of patient records and tracking of treatment outcomes.
