Job description

E-logic is seeking a high qualified Senior Network and Communications Infrastructure Architect. In this role, you will provide expert technical direction and architecture services to evaluate, re-design, engineer, and optimize the wired, wireless, cloud, and air-gapped network infrastructures supporting the Internal Revenue Services (IRS). Travel may be required on a limited basis to provide onsite support at the locations identified: Florence, KY 41042, Memphis, TN 38118, Kearneysville, WV 25430 and Ogden, UT 84404.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing internal, external, and cloud networks to design a streamlined "CI Standard Network" architecture.
  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments, traffic route audits, and heatmapping across various facilities.
  • Manage enterprise-wide upgrades, patch plans, and vulnerability remediations within strict security windows.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot VoIP systems, video conferencing platforms, and load-balancing solutions.
  • Resolve escalated engineering tickets using deep packet inspection tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.).

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • Must be a U.S citizen for this position.
  • Experience of 7 to 10 years of progressive professional experience in senior network engineering roles.
  • Must hold all of the following active credentials:
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise Wireless
  • Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
  • Expert proficiency in Cisco routing/switching (OSPF, BGP, LAN/WAN), VMware Cloud Foundation, Nutanix, and Infoblox.
