Job description

Christmas Light Installer (Seasonal)

Pay: Starting at $18/hour + Shared Crew Tips
Job Type: Full-Time Seasonal (W-2)
Season: September 10 – Mid/Late January (through holiday light removals)

About the Position

We Hang Christmas Lights installs custom holiday lighting displays for residential and commercial properties throughout the Valley.

We're looking for dependable people to join our installation team for the upcoming season. This is a physically demanding, outdoor position that requires working on ladders and residential rooftops every day.

No previous Christmas light installation experience is required. We provide the training—you bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Schedule

  • Season begins September 14
  • Position runs through mid/late January (holiday light removals)
  • Monday–Saturday
  • Approximately 55–65 hours per week
  • Meet at our Mesa warehouse at 6:00 AM each workday
  • Overtime available throughout the season

Responsibilities

  • Install Christmas lights on residential and commercial properties
  • Safely work on ladders and residential rooftops
  • Install roofline lights, tree wraps, and other holiday décor
  • Safely navigate rooflines while following company safety procedures
  • Load, unload, and care for company equipment and materials
  • Work efficiently as part of a crew
  • Maintain a professional attitude on customer job sites
  • Follow company quality and safety standards

Physical Requirements

  • Comfortable working at heights and on residential rooftops
  • Able to safely maneuver across a variety of rooflines
  • Able to repeatedly climb extension ladders throughout the day
  • Able to lift 50–75 pounds
  • Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona weather

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety
  • Roofing, solar, gutter, or other exterior construction experience is a strong plus, but not required
