  • Optimize the company's capital structure to ensure adequate capital for growth while maintaining a robust balance sheet.
  • Lead the creation and enforcement of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and drive efficiency.
  • Participate actively in ownership transition planning to maintain a sustainable and equitable employee ownership model.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and treasury management.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to the CEO, board of directors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement financial models and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate with external consultants for annual company valuations.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, bankers, and financial partners.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA or CFA) preferred.
  • Expertise in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and ownership transition strategies.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams with a focus on integrity, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen, capable of translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with multi-state financial operations.
  • Expertise in financial management disciplines such as accounting, finance, budgeting, and cost control principles.
