Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

The Bartender at Canyon Ranch Resort is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service within an upscale, wellness-focused restaurant environment. This role includes preparing and serving cocktails, mocktails, wine, and specialty beverages using fresh, high-quality ingredients, while supporting seamless restaurant operations through accurate order taking, timely service, and close coordination with servers and kitchen staff.

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Canyon Ranch recipes and service standards.
  • Deliver personalized, attentive service while creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience.
  • Take and process food and beverage orders accurately, working closely with the restaurant team to ensure timely service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, including opening and closing duties.
  • Provide knowledgeable beverage recommendations and accommodate guest preferences whenever possible.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with restocking, and communicate supply needs to management.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and Forbes Five-Star standards.
  • Support a professional, team-oriented environment that reflects Canyon Ranch's commitment to luxury hospitality and wellness.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and warm hospitality while effectively communicating with a variety of guests.
  • Part-time and full-time positions available with flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • 1-2 years of experience in bartending in luxury resort or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Position requires regular lifting of up to 40 lbs and the ability to remain active throughout shifts.

  • Use of services and facilities including the spa, fitness classes, lectures, and overnight stays at all Canyon Ranch locations nationwide.
