Job description

Castline Fill Station Operator

We are looking for a Castline Fill Station Operator who will report to the Operations Supervisor via the Castline Team Lead, who'll be tasked with helping to run our castlines. As part of your role, you'll be a significant contributor to BRP-Spruce Pine's manufacturing operation.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Operate BRP castlines, initiating and controlling pouring robots and all other castline functionality

  • Use a hoist to move aluminum casting clusters around the work area

  • Maintain related equipment to ensure proper functioning, including furnace cleaning

  • Work with other other operational functions to ensure appropriate part flow

  • Maintain run-at-rate with band saws and coating operations

  • Work with quality team to obtain first-part approvals

  • Adhere to standards to ensure the production of high-quality parts

  • Follow established safety rules

  • Identify and follow process sheets

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred

  • Technically and mechanically-inclined

  • Conceptual skills

  • High degree of physical stamina - candidates must be able to left/move up to 50 pounds

  • Inclination to process improvement

  • Self-motivated

  • Able to effectively follow written and verbal processes
