We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supervising carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in both interior and exterior construction. You will oversee project planning, execution, and finishing, managing a team of carpenters and collaborating with other trades. You will be expected to bring attention to detail, safety, and efficiency to all aspects of the job.
Key Responsibilities:
Foreman/Supervision:
o Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and laborers to ensure efficient workflow and quality results.
o Assign tasks, manage daily schedules, and monitor performance.
o Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
o Coordinate with other construction teams and trades to ensure project timelines and quality are maintained.
Planning & Estimating:
o Collaborate with project managers and architects to review project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
o Estimate material and labor costs and order necessary supplies.
o Plan work activities and sequences to ensure timely project completion.
Interior and Exterior Carpentry:
o Perform rough and finish carpentry work, including framing, installing drywall, doors, windows, and trim.
o Build, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures for both interior and exterior projects.
o Install and finish cabinetry, flooring, and other interior finishes with a high level of craftsmanship.
Finishing Work:
o Apply finishing touches to woodwork, such as sanding, staining, and varnishing to ensure a high-quality finished product.
o Install baseboards, crown molding, and other trim elements to complete projects to a professional standard.
Safety & Quality Control:
o Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
o Inspect completed work for quality assurance and provide guidance on improving techniques or addressing issues.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Carpenter, with 5 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Expertise in both interior and exterior carpentry work, including rough framing, finish carpentry, and cabinetry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
• Experience with project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team effectively.
• Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Requirements:
Requirements for this position are that you have:
(1) a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; and
(2) the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Concrete/paver/masonry experience is preferred.
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
