The Royal Caribbean Group's Revenue Management Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Revenue Management Operations Analyst to the Revenue Operations Manager.
The position is onsite and based in Miami, FL.
The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.
Position Summary:
Responsible for the technical implementation of price programs for the Celebrity brand. Works directly with the Promotions Strategy team, Revenue Management Product Teams in the design and development of pricing programs and ensures pricing is effectively and correctly reflected in the reservation system (i.e., AS 400). Manages pricing in the AS 400 by driving for efficiency and technical solutions to end user problems and need that will increase productivity while expanding to meet
the demands of extensive capacity growth for the brand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • In conjunction with Revenue Management domestic and global product teams, responsible for the creation of strategic and tactical price programs & promotions in the AS400 reservation system and Business Rules Management System (BRMS) for global markets and in multiple currencies.
  • Prepares option code requests and works with Accounting and Trade Support Operations team to create codes in the AS400 system and BRMS.
  • Prepares push reports and ad-hoc reporting for pricing and promotions. Acts as a primary technical point of contact for pricing programs in the AS 400.
  • Manages the administration of off-tariff price programs such as cruise certificates, seminar at sea, net rate programs.
  • Prepares reporting for Revenue Management, Sales, Hotel Ops, global markets such as one stop reports, qualified promo guest data to ships, etc.
  • Prepares new pricing for Deployment process and opens rates in all currencies Research, pilots, implements, and evaluates cost-effective ways to improve the efficiency of entering price programs and promotions in order to better lead the industry in Revenue Management.
  • Supports revenue teams in Pricing & Promotions system. Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical skills including proficiency in Excel & Hyperion.
  • Extensive knowledge of the AS400, preferred
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Responsible for promotion creation and maintenance impacting the brand's annual net revenue stream of over $2.6 Billion.
