Job Summary

The role of the Warehouse Agent is a physically demanding position, requiring regular and continuous lifting up to 30 lbs. Individuals who want to thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy physical work will be successful with our Warehouse Team. Express Cargo Agents perform a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving and processing inbound and outbound airfreight.

The expected pay rate is $21.50/hr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays. 

Your activities

  • Facilitate loading and unloading of trucks and move freight and containers throughout the cargo warehouse
  • Manually sort/transfer packages/boxes into and out of containers for aircraft and trucks with urgency
  • Ensure all cargo is scanned for tracking where appropriate.
  • Make sure label related to the cargo is correct
  • Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment
  • Roll loaded containers to staging positions
  • May operate pallet jacks or move package carts
  • Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
  • Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations
  • Comply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and Policies

Your profile

  • Good command of the English language both verbal and written
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver's license 
  • Ability to pass all required background checks
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work flexible working hours
  • Ability to work in inclement weather when applicable
