Solventless Wash Room Technician -- Night Shift

Job description

The Art Behind the Extract
Great solventless concentrate starts long before it hits a press — it starts in the washroom, where precision and cleanliness make or break the final product. Our client, a premier cannabis extraction company known for producing world-class cannabis oils, is looking for a Night Shift Washroom Technician to be part of that process in their Albany facility.
If you're the kind of person who takes pride in doing things exactly right — clean equipment, tight process, no shortcuts — this role gives you a front-row seat to how top-tier solventless products actually get made.
Quick Facts
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-11:00pm (onsite, 5 days/week)
Pay: $25.00/hour
Reports to: General Manager
The Work
Each day runs on a rhythm: two washes, four collections each, eight collections total. You'll open and close the wash room, thoroughly clean wash bags after every collection, and prep hash for pressing. Beyond the wash room itself, you'll help keep the freeze dryer room, press room, sink room, and other solventless-team spaces spotless and organized. Safety and compliance aren't an afterthought here — proper PPE, lab safety protocols, and all applicable cannabis regulations apply to everything you do, and if something's off, you'll know to flag it to leadership right away.
Is This You?
Cannabis concentrate enthusiasts who understand solventless products tend to thrive here. Experience in a manufacturing or lab setting is a plus, and prior extraction technician experience is welcomed but not required. What matters most: you move well in a fast-paced environment without letting quality slip, you're self-motivated, and you're someone your team can count on.
Good to Know
This role involves standing for extended periods in a cool, damp environment — around 40°F for most of the shift — and lifting up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the day. Occasionally, a wash cycle runs long and the day extends a bit beyond the scheduled shift; flexibility here goes a long way.
What You'll Get
Our client believes people do their best work when they're not worrying about life's biggest stressors. That's why the role comes with a living wage plus generous PTO, paid holidays, parental leave available from day one, health/dental/vision coverage, short-term disability, and a 4% 401(k) match once hired full-time.
Their Commitment
Our client is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to equitable hiring, and strongly encourages applicants from underrepresented, nontraditional, and justice-impacted backgrounds to apply. Reasonable accommodations are available throughout the hiring process for candidates who need them.
