Job description

Crouse Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY, is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join their collegial anesthesia environment. This role offers a diverse range of cases across the main hospital and three ASCs, supported by excellent Anesthesia Tech staff and a Pre-Op Testing Center. The position emphasizes supportive working relationships with surgeons and OR staff within a care-team model.

Practice Info

  • Work across the main hospital and 3 Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs)
  • Collegial anesthesia environment with supportive working relationships with surgeons and OR staff
  • Excellent Anesthesia Tech support and Pre-Op Testing Center
  • Staff members work in a care-team model
  • Case assignments include General, GYN, Bariatrics, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Crani’s, Thoracic, Vascular, Urology/Renal, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Podiatry, Endo, EP/Cath Lab, Healthy Peds
  • No open heart surgeries

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
  • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
  • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

  • Salary: $600K
  • OB Call: $25k per year
  • Sign on Incentive: $100K
