They may work for private clubs, professional players, or golf resorts, and their expertise can significantly enhance a golfer's performance.

How hard is it to get a caddie job?

Getting a full-time caddie job can be competitive, especially at popular golf courses or tournaments, and often requires knowledge of golf, good communication skills, and reliability. Many positions are filled through networking or by applying directly at golf clubs, with some courses requiring a background check or experience in golf. Availability may vary based on location and season, but persistence and a strong work ethic improve chances of securing a position.
