Job description

CentiMark Corporation, the nation's leader in commercial and industrial roofing, has an immediate full-time opening for a Branch Safety Inspector for our Spec Division in Indianapolis.
This person will lead and support safety initiatives for our commercial and industrial roofing projects. This role oversees safety compliance, manages site-specific plans, and partners with our General Contractors and internal teams to ensure a safety-first environment across the Northern Group territory.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of construction or safety management experience preferred
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and roofing/construction safety procedures
  • Certifications: 30-Hour OSHA certification is required (CentiMark will provide training for qualified candidates)
  • Skills: Excellent investigative, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to resolve complex safety issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Documentation: Ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date project safety documentation
  • Requirements: Must possess a valid state driver's license in good standing and be willing to travel and work overtime as needed

Job Summary:
  • Safety Planning & Oversight: Write and implement site-specific safety plans for Spec Division projects
  • Partner Engagement: Work directly with General Contractors to ensure all safety policies and procedures are rigorously adhered to on new construction projects
  • Field Inspections: Conduct rooftop safety inspections on Spec Division projects to check for compliance, identify hazards, and verify safety protocols
  • Mentorship & Training: Engage in our structured training program, transitioning from classroom onboarding to field-based mentorship under experienced Safety Specialists
  • Communication: Coordinate closely with the CentiMark team and the Customer's Safety Team to address safety concerns, provide updates, and facilitate high-level project safety performance

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Operations Manager, ensuring clear day-to-day oversight, performance tracking, and support.
