CMM Programmer – 1st Shift

Location: Litchfield County, CT
Pay: $30-35 per hour depending on experience

The Role

We are seeking a CMM Programmer to support our quality department through the development and execution of inspection programs and first article documentation. Key responsibilities include:


• Program and operate CMM equipment for production and first article inspection
• Create and maintain inspection programs for complex machined components
• Program and support vision inspection systems as required
• Prepare bubble drawings and AS9102 first article inspection documentation
• Train team members on proper CMM operation and inspection techniques
• Support quality investigations and dimensional analysis activities
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure inspection requirements are met
• Assist in developing efficient inspection processes that support a world-class manufacturing environment



Desired Skills & Experience



• Experience programming and operating CMM equipment
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
• Experience with Keyence vision systems is a plus
• Experience with CMM Manager software is a plus
• Familiarity with AS9102 first article inspection requirements
• Experience preparing bubble drawings and inspection reports
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to troubleshoot inspection and measurement issues
• Experience in aerospace, medical, or precision machining environments is a plus
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
