Job Description

The Sample Bottles Specialist is responsible for: preserving bottles; packing bottle orders according to client specifications; stocking shelves and supplies; printing bottle orders (if required); shipping bottle orders on the FedEx system; preparing acid dilutions. The primary responsibility will be packing orders. 

  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Packs bottle orders accurately following guidelines from client and company SOPs
  • Must follow procedures for packing bottles, preparing orders, preserving bottles, preparing dilutions or acids, and interpreting bottle order requests 
  • Preserves bottles following SOP guidelines
  • Restocks shelves with the proper bottle types
  • Keeps area clean and free of clutter
  • Prepares dilutions of acids used in preserving bottles
  • Ships bottle orders on the FedEx system
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Role is full-time, 40 hours/week. Hours will be M-F, 8am-5pm, with additional hours as required. Training will be the same hours. 

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • Must be able to understand and follow SOPs and work instructions 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed 
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Previous relevant experience 
  • Production experience 
  • Packing experience or previous experience working in a lab with samples 
Additional Information

Pay rate: $17.75/hour 

Please note - Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
