Seth Walizer State Farm is seeking a customer-focused Customer Retention Specialist to join our high-performing agency. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, building long-term relationships, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
While this is primarily a service-focused position, we're looking for someone who can naturally identify opportunities to strengthen customers' coverage. You'll build trust through outstanding service and confidently transition those conversations into needs-based in-book sales when appropriate.

Licensing Requirements
This is a licensing-contingent position.
  • Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start date.
  • Pennsylvania Life & Health license must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • We provide full licensing support, study materials, coaching, and guidance throughout the licensing process.

What You'll Do
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting policyholders with questions, policy changes, billing, renewals, and account updates.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships that increase customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct policy reviews to help ensure customers have the protection they need.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance coverage and confidently transition service conversations into in-book sales when appropriate.
  • Follow up proactively with customers regarding renewals, account maintenance, and outstanding service requests.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with agency and insurance standards.
  • Collaborate with the agency team to provide a seamless customer experience and achieve retention goals.

  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Friendly, empathetic, and professional communication style.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable discussing insurance coverage and recommending solutions that benefit customers.
  • Ability to naturally pivot from service conversations to in-book sales opportunities.
  • Previous insurance, customer service, account management, banking, retail, or hospitality experience is preferred.
