To thrive as a Full Time Book Copy Editor, you need excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and style, usually supported by a degree in English, journalism, or a related field. Familiarity with editing tools such as Microsoft Word's Track Changes, style guides like Chicago Manual of Style, and sometimes proofreading software is typically required.
