RiverView Health, is a community owned, membership based non-profit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston, MN.

RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Requirements:

Position: RN - Inpatient Unit (Night Shift) 6:00pm โ€“ 6:00am

Position Status: .9fte (72 hours per pay-period) - Non-Exempt subject to over-time

Pay Range: $37.46 โ€“ $51.43 /per hour (DOE) + Night Shift differential

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Night Shift RN โ€“ Be the Calm in the Quiet.
When the halls are still and the world is resting, you are the one making sure our patients feel safe, seen, and cared for. We're looking for a Registered Nurse who thrives at night and shines in the evening hours to join our inpatient care team full-time.

RiverView Health has an opening for a Full-Time Registered Nurse for our Hospital-Inpatient Unit (IPU). This position will cover the in-patient unit shifts between 6pm-6am.

  • Direct Patient Care - Develops and implements care plans based on patient condition and medical protocols. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician. Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise.
  • Documentation and Reporting - Accurately document patient care and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Communication and Collaboration - Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members. Provide patient education on care plans, discharge instructions, and medications.
  • Patient Advocacy and Safety - Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately.

Minimum(s):

  • Current State of Minnesota RN license.
  • Current American Heart BLS certification is required. If not currently certified, training will be provided, and certification must be obtained within 4 months of date of hire.
  • Current American Heart ACLS certification is required. If not ACLS certified, we will train within the first year.

Preferred(s):

  • ICU, ER, Medical, Surgical or OB experience.
  • 2+ yearsโ€™ experience working night shifts
  • 5+ years of Hospital Inpatient experience

Competencies:

  • Must work well under pressure and be sensitive to concerns and confidentiality of the patient
  • Ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds with professionalism and care
  • Ability to work at night through the early morning hours
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and office software
