Summary

Our clinical professionals and administration staff are experienced and achieve desired results. Responsibilities
  • Greet patients in a professional and welcoming manner both in person and on the phone
  • Obtains all necessary patient records as required by treatment protocol, which may include clinic EMR or outside resources
  • Collects appropriate co-payments or outstanding balances upon check-in, if applicable
  • Prep charts for scheduled infusions
  • Appropriately communicates with physicians, staff, patients and Altus colleagues through various methods (i.e. phone, EMR, chat, email)
  • Works the unscheduled patient report for the assigned site and attends weekly collaboration meeting to ensure all patients are scheduled timely
  • Assists with scheduling appointments for patients
  • Assist with ordering of medical supplies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist
