What are aquatic botanists?

Aquatic botanists are scientists who study plants and plant-like organisms that live in aquatic environments such as lakes, rivers, wetlands, and oceans. Their work involves researching the biology, ecology, and distribution of aquatic plants, as well as how these plants interact with their environment and other organisms. Aquatic botanists may also be involved in conservation efforts, habitat restoration, and monitoring the impact of human activities on aquatic ecosystems. They often conduct fieldwork, laboratory analysis, and collaborate with other environmental professionals. This role is essential for understanding and preserving the health of aquatic habitats.
