Pyramid Healthcare is a national leader in behavioral health, mental health, and addiction treatment services. We are proud to operate a residential inpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment facility in Duncansville, PA, serving adults on their recovery journey.

We are currently hiring Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to provide direct client care and support within our inpatient program. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking a rewarding career in mental health, healthcare, or human services-even without prior experience.


Position Overview

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a frontline team member responsible for supporting clients throughout their daily recovery process. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.


Pay & Schedule
  • $15/hour + Shift Differential
  • 2nd or 3rd shift ONLY

Key Responsibilities Client Care & Support
  • Assist with client intake and admissions process
  • Observe and document client behavior and self-administration of medication
  • Support individualized treatment plans and recovery goals
  • Monitor emotional and behavioral needs and provide appropriate responses, including crisis intervention
Program & Daily Operations
  • Maintain accurate client documentation and records

  • Coordinate and assist with daily activities and programming

  • Ensure a safe, clean, and structured environment for all clients

  • Assist with meal service and dietary needs

  • Complete all required training and compliance requirements

  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Qualifications Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience in behavioral health, mental health, healthcare, or human services
  • Background in customer service, caregiving, or residential settings
