What is a Full Time Bank Draw Inspection?

A Full Time Bank Draw Inspection is a process where an inspector visits a construction site on behalf of a lender to verify that the work completed matches the progress claimed in a draw request. This ensures that funds are released according to the actual stage of construction and that the project remains on schedule and within budget. Inspectors check for completed work, materials on-site, and compliance with plans and specifications, helping protect the bank’s investment.

What are some common challenges faced in a Full Time Bank Draw Inspection role and how can they be addressed?

A Full Time Bank Draw Inspector often encounters challenges such as tight deadlines for site visits, coordinating with contractors and project managers, and ensuring detailed, accurate reporting for each draw request. Many inspectors find that developing a consistent workflow and maintaining thorough documentation helps minimize errors and keeps projects on schedule.
