Production Technician
Findlay, OH | Full-Time | 12-Hour Rotating Schedule
At Ball, you'll be part of a team that manufactures high-quality aluminum packaging for some of the world's leading brands. As a Production Technician, you'll work hands-on with advanced manufacturing equipment, helping ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
Schedule
  • 12-hour rotating shifts
  • 4 days on / 4 days off
  • 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
  • Rotate from days to nights every 4 weeks

What You'll Do
  • Operate, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot high-speed production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform equipment repairs.
  • Support equipment repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Inspect aluminum products to ensure quality and customer specifications are met.
  • Follow safety, food safety, PPE, and 5S standards.
  • Use hand and power tools to maintain equipment and support production needs.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to solve problems and improve performance.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a mechanical, maintenance, manufacturing, or related technical role.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with automated production equipment.

Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing facility and may include exposure to hot and cold temperatures, loud production areas, prolonged standing and walking, and climbing stairs or equipment as needed.

  • Hourly Rate: $32.40/hr
  • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.

  • Onsite Work Environment: This position is based in Findlay, OH and requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site. Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
