Rogers Group is currently seeking an individual to fill the NIGHT SHIFT UNDERGROUND WHEEL LOADER OPERATOR position for our Reostone Quarry location in Nashville, TN.
The underground wheel loader operator will operate a full-size wheel loader in mucking heads to move material and load out haul trucks carrying material to the surface for production. The successful candidate for this role will have experience operating a wheel loader and heavy machinery, and an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. In addition to serving as an equipment operator, this individual may be required to help out on the ground maintaining safety items and keeping the mine well ventilated. General work around the quarry and other assigned duties may also be requested.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Have at least one-year of proficient experience operating a wheel loader.
  • Willing to work in an underground mining environment.
  • Able to operate a wheel loader and other mining equipment with precision and excellence in a confined space.
  • Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions and work underground in the mine.
  • Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
  • Ability to pick up on new tasks quickly.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
