Job description

We are currently seeking a full-time Licensed Psychiatric Technician to join our team at Atascadero State Hospital located in Atascadero, California.
Wednesday - Sunday PM shift 2:45pm - 11:15 pm or Night Shift 11 PM - 7:00 AM
$40.00 per hour + shift differentials and Medical, dental and vision
The Licensed Psychiatric Technician (CA Staffing) works under general supervision to provide a basic level of behavioral and psychiatric nursing care as well as facilitate the rehabilitation of forensic clients, patients, or inmates. The LPT is responsible for observing and intervening on any behavior that may injure people, damage property, or signal impending escape attempts. This professional escorts individuals into the facility and performs searches, inspecting mail for any contraband and the facilities for any potential safety breaches.
INDMHM

โ€ข Possession of a valid license to practice as a Psychiatric Technician issued by the BVNPTE required
โ€ข Knowledge of medical terminology and First Aid methods
