Ready to suit up as a Public Safety Patrol Supervisor?
*This position requires a valid Driver's License and Law enforcement/ Project Management/PA 330 experience/ Hospital Security/ Criminal Justice/ Operations Management/Military background!*
The Patrol Tactical Roving Supervisor plays a vital role in protecting company assets and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all employees, facilities, and products. This position is responsible for preventing financial loss, theft, and fraud throughout the company's manufacturing facilities and vehicle holding yards, while consistently delivering high-quality customer service. The Specialist enforces company policies, security standards, and safety practices to support and strengthen the overall security and safety culture.
Reporting directly to the Asset Protection Lead, the Public Safety Patrol Supervisor primarily works the afternoon shift and serves as an extension of the Lead by helping reinforce local security culture across all shifts.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, clear communication skills, and a customer-focused approach while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional and unionized environment.

Responsibilities of Public Safety Patrol Supervisor
  • Valid Driver's License is REQUIRED!
  • Must be min of 21 years of age.
  • Law enforcement or Military background REQUIRED!
  • Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
  • This position requires extending periods of standing/moving
  • This position requires visits to various site location per shift
  • Verify identities and control access to secure areas
  • React quickly to threats or incidents
  • Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
  • Document incidents and actions taken
  • Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
  • Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
  • Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and site security to resolve issues and implement preventive measures
  • Support criminal investigations and testify in legal proceedings when required.
  • Gather and communicate intelligence to prevent theft and strength incident response
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of incidents, investigations, and security assessments
  • Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and accidents following established protocols
  • Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies to protect assets and personnel

Qualifications of Public Safety Patrol Supervisor
  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
  • Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
  • First aid certification is an asset
  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
  • If you have Military or a Law Enforcement experience - even better!
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
  • ASIS CPTED Essentials Certificate
  • ASIS Security Risk Assessment Essentials Certificate

Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Walk, stand, and bend for extended periods while patrolling facilities, yards, and warehouses
  • Enter and exit patrol vehicles repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Climb stairs, ladders, rooftops, mechanical areas, elevated platforms, and confined spaces as needed
  • Lift and maneuver equipment or security devices up to 50 lbs
  • Work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow
  • Respond rapidly to emergencies, including running or navigating uneven terrain
Leadership & Program Support
  • Stay current on security industry trends and testify in legal proceedings when required
  • Train, guide, and mentor site security personnel
  • Oversee patrol vehicle fleet readiness, including maintenance checks, cleanliness, key control, service, scheduling, and equipment preparedness
