What is full time art printmaking?

Full time art printmaking jobs involve creating original prints using various techniques such as etching, screen printing, lithography, or woodcut, often in a studio or educational setting. Professionals in these roles may work as printmakers, studio technicians, instructors, or gallery staff, focusing on producing and exhibiting fine art prints. Responsibilities can include designing artwork, operating printing presses, maintaining equipment, collaborating with artists, and sometimes teaching or curating exhibitions. These positions typically require strong artistic skills, knowledge of printmaking methods, and attention to detail. Full time roles may be found at art studios, print shops, universities, museums, or galleries.
